BEN vs Princess [Kars Fighting Ring]

BEN: The abomination product of a careless cult.

Princess: The AI entity that lingers in video games.

Before We Start…

There's really not a lot to point out, for ben we will be using everything listed as canon in the Jadusable Wiki, which include:

All videos
Jadusable Wiki

Websites

Interviews

Also you may notice, a lot of these feats actually come from the wiki, to be more specific these are synopsis coming from the mod team of the jadusable channel, which means most of it should be taken seriously as what's actually going on.

There is also a bit of problems regarding a specific section of the canon made by Kayd Hendricks, its both non canon and canon at the same time, since part of its canon entered the main one, like for example his introduction in “mhftt.txt”, but it also clashes out with statements of the creator dictating that it was not canon.

In the end, it's a bit weird, but for research value we will be counting it for the blog, just take anything we get from that part with a pinch of salt.

As for the shitpost king kong series, we will not use it, as it's literally non canon.

More on the canonicity of things will be talked about before the verdict.

As for the princess, due to the nature of its story, we are counting the main creepypasta, alongside other stories that depict her legend, appearing in other games.

Now for the general idea, Games = the ingame cosmology, this means that affecting things like the sky box or anything similar will be included for the sake of the debate (and to make this more interesting)

Background

The Princess

“if you see her, TURN OFF THE GAME!.”

Welcome to the 90s, a simpler time when change was in the air—people, music, and lifestyles were evolving. If you were lucky enough to experience gaming, you'd remember the rise of consoles like the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation, introducing 3D gaming. While the novelty wore off by the late 90s, the excitement for games like Ocarina of Time remained high. However, for one game company, it was a disaster. In an attempt to replicate Ocarina of Time's clear future success in the making, they strived to make an incredibly similar game featuring a hero! Though obviously that wouldn’t be enough, the company had a great idea given no one in the market had done it yet, the main selling point would be an advanced AI that was promised to have real-time emotions in order to be a great companion for the Player, though due to budget & time constraints- this was ultimately scrapped from the project. Mr. Carver, the AI companion mechanic at the time, obsessed with the idea, became 'consumed' by the Princess, as he became more and more crazed... drawing pictures of her, speaking about her nonstop, and eventually he tragically took his own life. This event of mass hysteria, which led to the creation of an entity known as "the Princess," who sought revenge against those who shut her away, across various games she'd project herself to finally be "seen" and many... MANY... more people would start to follow Carver's example.

Now imagine this, your a young girl, maybe 8 to 9 at max, and for christmas you got a little game titled banjo and kazooie, you loved this game!, but as you continue to play a small angel character appeared to you, she talked to you and acted like your friend, you started to draw her and believe that she truly was real, until one day, while talking to the angel, who had told you her name (Princess), she gets, aggressive, when trying to change the subject to anything else she would hurt banjo and therefore you, bruises would appear on you and she would start to demand more attention from you, she begged and pleaded with you, eventually, at midnight, your sister would come into the room while you were playing, you told her to leave but she never did, she looked concerned, you were playing banjo and kazooie right?, what was this talk of only static on the screen? She was wrong, you yelled at her to leave and so she did, soon after your mother entered and screamed at you to get off, but you couldn’t as the Princess would harm you, but you decided to follow your mothers orders, she would understand right?, she didn’t she hated that you left, she got angry, hands would slowly come out of the screen, she muffled your screams as blood pooled out of your body, she was beating you to death, red spots would cover your body as she beat you down further and further, but you enjoyed her company?, why wouldn’t she understand?, why? Why  wouldn’t she just understand you

That exact story has happened to many, and would happen to many more, everytime she gained a new victim, and as is of her nature, she knows of you now… goodluck, and the only thing i can say is
Don't fight her
Don't interact with her
Don't look for her
And.. please if you see her

TURN OFF THE GAME

BEN

“You have met a terrible fate, haven't you?.”

The year was 1998 and a man known as “Kelbris” started to hear whispers, words that revealed him about a future of death and despair coming from a deity known only as “luna”, moved by this revealing he started a cult, one to actually praise her, embracing this destruction, while at the same time searching for a way to get eternal life, and thus, the moon children and the eternity project were born.

Kelbris taught the cult about ascension, a method where their body remained on earth, but their soul and conscience was transported somewhere else, a world made just to work as an oasis, tough, there were some catches, to begin with, even if this world could be anything, it also showcased the world of multiple games, one of them being “The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask,” but the most important detail was that in order to ascend, they would have to leave their physical body behind first, essentially dying. Kelbris himself was the first to “ascend” through a rudimentary way, making his transformation into that of a powerful yet passive entity. This led to multiple participants of the cult to seek such power, infact, there were so many, that their souls all ended up trapped inside of a peculiar vessel that would end up creating a series of events, a nightmare without comparison.

After a few years, in 2010, a young man would find a mysterious cartridge with only the name “Majora” scribbled all over it. Buying it from a shady salesman, he would start to play it only to find out that a spirit resided inside of it, calling itself through the monoquere “Ben.” When confronted with this being, the man would start posting his findings under the Alias of “Jadusable” over at 4Chan. He shared screenshots, anecdotes, but most importantly videos of the paranormal encounters he had with the game. The spirit’s form came in the shape of the elegy statue, the “soldier without heart” as seen in the original game; which Ben used to constantly torment him until he turned mad. It went to such a degree that he started seeing it in real life as well, hearing his door being knocked; all of it always coming with the reversed tune of the song of healing. Sometimes BEN would post on his YouTube channel, sometimes they would chat through AI bots, and sometimes… they didn’t do anything. Jadusable was going so insane that the children didn’t have to lift a finger as his own mind continued the endless pain. Sadly enough for our not-so-valiant hero, he would inevitably perish at the hands of Ben after he seemingly killed him in real life. Through this event, BEN would then start their plan to extend their reach, as a mysterious voice starts to tell the participants of how they were about to partake in one of the most crucial events in humanity’s history.

This started a large hunt to see how to see the extent in which they could affect and participate in this “game” the spirit had proposed to them. After playing and having several unfortunate incidents (God bless your soul Alex, cause your teammates definitely didn’t), the players eventually found a small domain under the name of “youshouldnthavedonethat.net,” the base of operations for the moon children, the cult that started it all. Even as small as they were. It was at this time that the players found that the game had an effect on the real world too, allowing them to utilize various songs for the website as well, as they used the song of time to go back to see how it all really began. They would see the interactions between several cult members, with one of the most relevant ones being Matt, an admin of the site. Their research, while trifled and muddied by BEN, still ended up being fruitful. Various articles and conversations led to the answers of many questions around the story; Ben’s death was for ascension, people needed to be in a dangerous situation for it, they thought only kids could do that’s why all of the spirits were seemingly minors, the reverenced one being a figure called “The father,” the god they adore being Luna,  and so much more. However, this came at a great cost, as when Jadusable had finally disappeared, BEN decided to pull a fast one and put part of their essence on a singular file explaining all that had happened, corrupting it and spreading throughout the internet. They had done it, they felt like true winners. And so, with a simple and classic tune… time had come back, and the counter resetted.

Ben’s influence turned out to be so great that he ended up causing a catastrophe nobody could have predicted… the economic crash of 2018… that and merging timelines to create a paradoxical existence between several people and in turn take full control of the world’s reality, yeah no biggie. This clash of timelines caused the cult to somehow manage to get an actual company, this time going by the name the eternity project, resources and even more personal than ever for their operations. The most strange of these acquisitions being an apartment complex where time does not work, and neither the sun or the moon exists. In here we are introduced to “The Second Player” (named like that because he fucking DIED way too soon), who after a panicked rush and being present for an active execution and digitilization, decided to try and escape the place, only to find out that going out of this hell was basically impossible; not long before he became a victim of the jailer that guarded the area too. A new NEW player would enter the mix, this time a woman by the name of Sarah… who would actually take the instructions and simply wait for what would occur next, staying in place and trusting the cult’s guidance. It is then revealed, and partially implied, that she and many others were kidnapped here after applying to both the eternity project and that this was the process of testing she would have before being able to enter the digital world. A man named Abel explains this to her, mainly in a monotone form since he’s so tired of having people die on him; but due to Sarah’s cooperation, he decided to give her a little something as a prize for being such a cooperative lady.

After cleaning and reorganizing her room, Sarah would then be given access to a game console and cartridge as a treat between friends, that being the original N64 containing the Majora’s cartridge, allowing her to get a final shot to end this nightmare. Ben, the actual child, is waiting for her inside, making her play the song of healing and giving her access to the many people trapped inside and the memories of what occured. Playing the song of time and reverting the game back to its original state (2010) allowed her to have a chance at ending this…yet again, it seemed. However, before she could continue, Abel interrupted her playing session, as he couldn’t stop himself from gushing about how impressive this BEN AI was and the implications of his existence. While he only admits that this was their first project before having the successful career they currently operate, it is revealed through special logs that this original simulation was left behind due to how corruptive and powerful the entities inside could become, as they didn’t think too much of the implications of letting their past lose again. Sarah, being an “epic gamer girl,” as they say, decided to ignore his advice to play something else as she booted up the N64 to continue where she left off. After entering the sewage behind the clock’s entrance at termina, would then meet with a strange entity by the name of Ifrit, the one who would tell her the way to free Ben’s soul along with the others; she would have to get the hearts from all the moon children before the 3 days pass by. Now motivated and guided by a sense of duty, Sarah embarked on a journey to finally stop this nightmare once and for a-

She was tricked. Just like Jadusable and the many others before her, she was being used as a pawn for a greater purpose: awakening The Father once and effectively reaching an absolution. Jadusable, now as a broken vessel, tried to kill her to stop this, however the many souls inside and outside the game decided to let her do the worst thing possible. Sarah decided to activate the fourth day glitch, enabling Ifrit and BEN to have full control of this world. As a final act of repentance, Jadusable sacrifices his body to give all his power to Sarah and get her ready for the final battle. After meeting with both entities at the edge of the universe, they would transform themselves into Majora’s wrath, starting an arduous fight. Sarah would seemingly be pushed against the wall as the nightmarish monster could easily ignore her attacks, until she remembered the one thing that led her to this. Taking out the ocarina, she would begin to play a familiar tune: the song of healing.

Both Ifrit and the remaining aspects of BEN would instantly vanish in a painful death, as a large being would appear in front of her…

It was the last god of this world: The Father. He is revealed to be Kelbris, the same being behind the disappearances and digitalization of the many people inside the cartridge. He explains that due to his passive design, he can only act upon the will of the ones in control of the world (that being BEN and Ifrit at the time). As a guardian figure, he now changed his parameters to become a truly benevolent entity, yet this came with a great cost. Due to Sarah’s newfound existence as an anomaly who could come and go outside of reality, she would then up, who then explains that he can’t let her live anymore as she is now a threat to the world as well. With a simple question, she asked about the fate of this world, in which Kelbris answers that all will go back to how it was supposed to be. But then she asks the inevitable things… What about her? Where will she go? The titan doesn’t know… but she isn’t scared, nor sad, not even disappointed. After all, this is what she should do to redeem her foolish intrusion on this decaying world; the one last thing left to save the universe, delete it all, a total reset that would fix every anomaly, every tragedy that occurred to this point, and that cost was her simple life. A true sacrifice that was acknowledged by Kelbris, fulfilling  her wish and letting her, and everyone that was dragged into this madness finally be at peace, putting an end to the legend of the moon children.

However, even with all that, nobody is certain of what happened to BEN’s presence. Their bodies might have been destroyed, but their myth lingers on, even Kelbris states how after the restoration of the souls, the corrupted AI was still out there. It comes to show that the one thing more eternal than death is the attachment of a resentful and twisted bastard to continue on living till the end of it all.

Even if they were defeated once, their malice still persists.

So remember, DON’T engage with them…

DON’T play their game…

DON’T fall into their trap…

And if you do…

Well, just know…

Experience & Skill

Princess

The princesses concept for existence has existed for a LONG LONG time, the first time she was thought of even fleetingly bore her into existence, she's been doing the game controlling for a LONG time, if she isn’t targeting her developers, then she's attacking random people, Dan alone had encountered her almost 200 times alone.

She's able to react to people merely thinking about her to appear to them, she's been able to exist at two spots at once, not only that but rules do not bound her, trying to make sense of the princess is defined as the impossible, she is an unknowable being.

BEN

Throughout the years inside of the cartridge, BEN has accumulated a vast understanding of his digital prison, to the point in which he’s capable of completely manipulating it. It also goes to such a length that BEN was aware of stuff such as the function of certain items, various glitches (such as the 4th day one), specific song usage, etc. They had several years of experience due to the looping simulation, in which they continuously tortured and manipulated the denizens inside of the cartridge.

This knowledge extends to other digital means, from the control of websites (Such as the Moon Children domain) to even utilizing .txt files and chat-bots (cleverbot). These children really have a keen eye for technology too, as they quickly adapted to the modern era even after being trapped inside of the cartridge for more than a decade.

It’s also important to clarify that each spirit inside of the collective that is BEN is completely independent from each other, yet they’re capable of showing a great deal of cooperation and teamwork. After all, they had to come to a natural consensus to form their shared vessel, demonstrating a great deal of trust between their individual capabilities.

Equipment

Princess

Car

The Princess has a fucking car The car can also duplicate into 7 when 1 is destroyed note this doesn’t apply to the person attacking it but it just bumping into shit also it crashes the game if there's enough Also she fucking sucks at driving.

It's important to note that this come from a game called Vigilante 8 which in the style of twisted metal has multiple power ups/abilities to pull from, therefore the princesses car should be able to use them, these consist of

BEN

The Cartridge

BEN’s main source of pain and cryptic capabilities, the original Majora’s cartridge is where they utilize most of their well known abilities. In this realm, BEN has shown to:

  • Create Loops

  • Access to any/all items in the game as resources

  • Seal people inside NPCs

  • Ignore physical damage

  • Directly communicate with the player

  • Grant/null powers and the usage of items

  • Ignore/resist glitches (note, glitches have still been shown to threaten beings within)

  • Utilize the Ocarina of time and it’s various songs

  • Text manipulation

  • Induce Madness/fear in the players (as seen with both Sarah and Jadusable)

Alongside this, the cartridge in itself a moldeable world in which the commanding entity has full control over. BEN is capable of trapping people inside, as well as modifying and creating their own distinct realms from here as seen by their corruption.

Abilities

The Princess

Princess Physiology

The princess is a being made of pure data..?, okay so it's a little weird, The Princess is a being made of idea, the Princess lives on being thought of, they exist out of creation, Fiction become Reality, the princess can come back from thoughts, she is unable to be harmed or even touched

Game/World Manipulation

A being that lives in code she can manipulate the world around her, you kind find everything she does here

Madness Manipulation

Probably one of the most deadly abilities the Princess has, while interacting with the Princess, people tend to get “violent” to say the least, they go mad with anger towards her, they begin to hate, HATE, HATE That stupid red BRAT, people who are affected by her Madness Manipulation become erratic and hateful, till the point of no return, when this happens the Princess goes in for the kill, beating them to death with thousands of hands, sometimes they even refuse help from those trying to save them, they are beyond help at this point

Inmersion

From what we know, those who interact with the princess long enough eventually meet their end at being beat to death, what we know is, she enters reality and begins to beat the SHIT out of them, if they fight back or not depends on the person, but most of the time they do due to her passive Madness Manipulation

Dimensional Travel

The princess can travel to other game worlds, no matter the console or era, it's unclear how she does this, as she just kinda appears.

She has appeared so far in:

  • The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

  • Megaman Legends

  • WWE Wrestlemania 21

  • Portal

  • Vigilante 8

  • Blast Corps

  • Drawn To Life

  • Super Mario 64

  • Banjo Kazooie

  • Doom

  • RC Revenge

  • Crash Bandicoot: Wrath Of Cortex

  • Minecraft

  • The Binding Of Isaac (Original)

  • Saints Row 4

  • Pokémon Blue

  • Pokémon Black/White

  • Pokémon Soul Silver

  • The Sims 2

  • GTA 5

  • GTA 4

  • Delta Force Black Hawk Dawn

  • M.U.G.E.N

  • Team Fortress 2

  • Apparently Geometry Dash

But, there are apparently over 200 sightings of her in other games that remain unnamed.

Dream/Memory Manipulation

Upon interaction with the Princess, our main character has horrible dreams, these dreams included death and the feeling of death, the MC refers to this as their mind knowing what death felt like, they also forget their story and encounter with the Princess, while this is shown in the story as the MC just forgetting as time passed, later they are completely unable to remember anything about the story

Bodily Manipulation

The princess has been depicted in many ways, but a couple that stay consistent is her red hair white dress, otherwise she has been shown to be a gray square, and an angel

Princess Virus

When under the “control” of the princess via some sort of virus that infects anything near her shenanigans (or she just chooses who to infect, it's not really specified), said thing loses any way to fight back, being in a “peaceful” state, but, even if they do try, they cant, for example, a creeper tried to explode, but it just kept failing to do so, like if something was not letting him do it, and when it finally was about to pull it off, the creeper “sink through the ground”, potentially killing him in the process.

This last bit about instantly killing anything that opposes it, shown in the same minecraft story, when the player (who wasn't really infected but interacted constantly with the things that were) tried to open the end portal but suddenly just died, like, death.

BEN

B.E.N Physiology

This is a bit weird to explain, but we will try to do it in the best way possible, SO!, what’s BEN? Is he a statue? Souls? A hivemind? An AI?, PURE DATA?... Well… all of them. Yeah it's stupid, but stick with us on this one.

It is revealed to us that those who ascend need a vessel in the world they are going to, so their soul/consciousness (it's complicated) can have an actual body, but it also says that you leave EVERYTHING behind, no soul, no consciousness, no nothing. It's like if you were just a mere copy of the real you.

Now, onto B.E.N itself, it's revealed that it's actually just an AI made by the cultists that ascended, all merging into an actual network (it's complicated again), meaning that BEN is actually multiple people at once, a hivemind of sorts.

But obviously, it doesn't end there, for some reason, this state that they got, even if they are still ascended people, got so into the whole network shtick that it could actually go through CABLES and live in the INTERNET, hiding within codes and documents.

So, to be exact, what does this physiology grant him? Well, by logic he would be resistant to any mind or soul hax, and can even turn his body into information/energy to go through cables, AND, turn into data itself to live in pages.

Way too weird and complicated? Don't worry, we are diving more in the before the verdict section.

Teleport

Literally the most iconic part of BEN, due to his, well, statue form, he can't really move at all, so, to move around he just teleports wherever he pleases to. Even though he could use other vessels and bodies for this, it seems that BEN really enjoys the thrill that comes with being such a niche reference. Yeah that's about it.

Song of Healing

The favorite tune our twisted individuals like to use. Even without the direct usage of the Ocarina, BEN is already capable of using this song for a wide range of purposes. Some of them include:

The Other Ocarina Songs

Less important than the Song of Healing, the other ocarina songs are fully accessible for BEN at any time just like the Song of Healing.

It was confirmed that every song has an effect similar to the real counterpart, but also adding extra details for the story. Those who don't really have a lot will just be how the original game uses them. This also includes songs from Ocarina of Time, since the Sun’s Song was used once.

  • Goron Lullaby: It wasn't used in the ARG, but due to confirmation that every song has similar effects in the story if they would have been used it's safe to assume that the effect of using it would be to put the enemy to sleep.

  • Zelda’s Lullaby: Again, not used in the ARG, but it does hold some mysterious powers, since it could be used to solve various puzzles, raise the water levels and even time travel!

  • Epona’s Song: Same case as both above, the best we can assume is that it summons epona, which, like, why.

  • Saria’s Song: Literally does nothing but change the background song.

  • Prelude Of Light: It BFR’s you to the Temple of Light… yeah that's about it.

  • Minuet Of Forest: Like the song above, it's just self BFR, this time to the Forest Temple.

  • Bolero Of Fire: Wooo more self BFR, this time to the Death Mountain Crater.

  • Serenade Of Water: I'm going insane. This time is self BFR to Lake Hylia.

  • Requiem Of Spirit: MORE SELF-BFR IM GOING FUCKING INSANEEEEE, ahem, this time to the Desert Colossus

  • Nocturne Of Shadow: again, more self bfr, this time to the shadow temple.

  • Sonata Of Awakening: This song was used two times, each one having a different effect for its usage, the first one being to “get Alex to safety”, but it backfired since it just BFR’d him to an unknown place. Later on it was played again, this time via a poll which led to the infamous second player to wake up, so uhh… maybe we can count it to make you literally wake up too?.

  • Song of Storms:, causing a day to skip by. Could fully change a person’s identity, turning them into a whole new individual.

  • Sun’s Song: Could Paralyze a hoard of RDead when used by Sarah.

  • Oath to Order: Because of its state as an endgame song, it can be played early but it will create negative effects (Indirectly caused the Death of Alex by playing it too soon)

  • New Wave Bossa Nova: returns the voice back to the mute (allowing others to communicate)

  • Song of Soaring: another self BFR (cheese will die seeing this)

  • Elegy of Emptiness: Summons THE DROWNED ON- I mean, lets BEN appear as the statue of elegy. It can also be played against the player’s command to forcefully activate him

  • Song of Double Time: skips time.

  • Song of Time: It allows time travel to occur (timeline shenanigans occur as its effect goes both to the game and real life)

  • Song of Inverted Time: slows down time. This was also used to confirm that the ocarina’s input had a real effect on the world around the players.

Possession

Having only one vessel seemed like a very stupid thing to do, so BEN decided to take as much space as they could.

From corrupting websites and entire files, they were capable of spreading everywhere, yet in one instance they were capable of controlling and fully possessing the AI chatting website Cleverbot. Why?

In BEN’s own words… They found it funny ngl

It is important to note that this possession was both through spiritual and physical means, as BEN says how he entered through the cables of Jadusable’s PC. And mind you, this was all done just to merely mess with a single person. Why? Cause why not… it’s fun seeing a man breakin down, after all.

Data Manipulation

During the course of the ARG, BEN was capable of messing with several digital mediums. Text files, game save states, the inputs of players (such as with Jadusable), the levels of the playable character, the current location of files, etc. This ability is also enhanced by his time manipulation, as it allowed them to upload a video even before the whole ARG began, almost like a foreshadowing of it.

Dimension Creation

BEN doesn’t like confining their role in a singular area, so they created a wide variety of small pocket dimensions and worlds in which other beings can inhabit too, battle arenas from bosses, and other smaller instances of mashed up game assets. The most impressive of these is the “sanctuary” in which Ben hides away before the reset done by Sarah. This place is important as it should be outside of the simulation’s main universe due to it residing in an area the father didn’t immediately infect.

Digitalization

So what's even going on with Digitization? Well it's important to note this concept has evolved from simple “ascension” to outright the manipulation and replication of various human aspects.

At first, the idea behind digitized people was that of leaving their physical bodies behind to ascend; however this created an issue of where they would eventually go. As such, the cult translated their efforts into putting those wandering souls into controlled areas in which no harm could be done; simulations to be exact.

One of these efforts led to the creation of the cartridge, one of the most powerful and unpredictable ones in function. The people inside can have various abilities and effects depending on the reasoning behind their digitalization.

BEN is able to manipulate such commands and regulations freely, leaving them to have various abilities like:

The “Curse” of Ben DrownedTM

BEN’s range of power isn’t limited to just the place they originally remain in, as their essence has been capable of passing through various mediums (.txt files, videos, websites, etc.). It goes to the point where even the player base constantly feared BEN being around them while the ARG was on.

These have allowed BEN to also corrupt and control the reality in which the “players” remain, as the entity now exists in all of their own computers and lives simultaneously

In essence, BEN is capable of spreading themselves around like a virus throughout all of the internet, seemingly without limits. When infected, they have shown to be quite insistent on their advances to be known. It also allows BEN to have complete control of the place it has infected, allowing them to act without the knowledge of the owner to do as they please.

Also, every person that learns about his existence feels drawn to know more about the story, getting tangled in the ARG.

Time Manipulation

Throughout the narrative, BEN employs several instances of tinkering around with the foundations of time. These go from simple things like stopping time, accelerating and slowing it down; to their more potent capabilities such as ignoring time stops, resetting time, somehow doing stuff to Jadusable’s channel even a year before meeting him (like uploading the Rosa video), and having the range to affect even other dimensions. These instances apply to several places too, such as websites, the game world, and even real life. Due to this, BEN is also capable of resisting and even being immune to changes in the timeline, as seen when all of his actions can’t be reverted even when the song of time is played.

Memory/Mind Manipulation

The cult has shown time and time again to manipulate the minds of those who come into contact with them, BEN himself has also done the same to others, this can range from remembering things incorrectly, forget about doing stuff, and even mind wipe them entire days to even YEARS worth of information.

Sealing/Looping

This ability allows BEN to trap people inside of things like NPCs and the 3-day cycle found in the original Majora’s mask. This is the case with Rosa, who got trapped in which she was forced to repeat the same events over and over without any knowledge of her previously being a conscious human. The original child who played the cartridge got stuck in Clock town until he was manually let out (sound manip as well)

4th Wall Awareness

BEN is keenly aware of their state as a game character. Not only that, but during the whole ARG, commenting and even mocking both the players and characters several attempts to try and fight against them. To the point where he seems… too adamant about the way people should engage with them.

Light Manipulation

BEN has one of the most useless powers if not used right, so, does he use it right? Fuck no, he only makes light appear in his face and turn a landscape into pure blackness.

Sound Manipulation

What is a trickster without some simple but effective scares? BEN is capable of using music from the game and reversing it; as well as the various audio files inside it.

I'm starting to notice a pattern with these sound haters.

Fire and Electricity Manipulation

During their first instance recorded by Jadusable, BEN was capable of instantaneously burning up Link without as much as even touching him, making him die without any possibility of fighting back. He does this more than once, but this is more of a Masked kid thing.

Also when this happens, Link gets electrocuted too, which is cool i guess and definitely not because the only way he can get burned in game is through electrocution.

Telekinesis

Mostly shown when as he burns people, BEN lifts Jadusable from the ground in order to give his demise, it's pretty simple.

Dream Manipulation

BEN Has shown the capability of manipulating the dreams of his victims, appearing in them and making them feel whatever sick torture he haves in mind. This control is so big that it seems that it passively drains the energy of the victim and even doesn't let them wake up at all.

Necromancy

Link (the player character) has been said to look dead after being brought back by BEN. BEN is also capable of turning normal denizens of Termina into ReDead, effectively a part of the undead in the Zelda world.

Illusions

BEN is not a stranger to messing with people’s minds, alongside their perception of reality, he's been able to do all sorts of stuff with it, mostly to Jadusable, who, for example, made him think he saw the old guy he bought the game from, and even make him think he saw the statue in real life.

Inmersion

BEN themselves have commented and threatened the players about going out of the cartridge to show them why they’re not the ones in control, literally knocking on their door, especially in the unfortunate case of Judasable, who met his end against them.

Merging

The spirit of Jadus (the other Jadusable, dw about him rn) goes out of his way to explain how BEN’s influence has become so great that their game has reached to the point of merging and messing with timelines, this is way more complex, but its separated in other hax rn so don't worry about it too much yet.

BFR

BEN has been shown capable of creating and trapping individuals inside specific spaces around the cartridge, such as white and black voids, glitched rooms (like constantly looping areas), mostly so they can't escape him.

Glitch Manipulation

BEN is not a stranger to utilizing glitches inside of the cartridge, as they are aware enough of the benefits that come with them (such as the fourth day glitch). They have done visual glitches (such as the legendary 90° Link) as well as sound-crushing and constant game crashes.

Reality Warping

What is the world but merely a playground for the free? That’s the mindset BEN has gotten after gaining the capability of altering the world however they please. This has shown itself through:

Not only that, but BEN’s reach has gone to such degrees that these same instances should apply to many places, such as mirror worlds, other game worlds and the real world.

Death Manipulation

In one of BEN’s several “epic pranks” they pulled on Jadusable, they turned into a version of the boss Gomess, a reaper, who could insta-kill Link, bypassing his durability and giving him the hardest L in the series. This transformation wasn’t a one thing either, as this is the form one of the moon children use to fight against Sarah.

It's also worth mentioning that BEN can also negate revives, making that if anyone tries to respawn, they just appear dead, without any way to come back to life.

Existence Erasure

As a “cheap bastard” in nature, BEN can end it all in one swift and simple action. Whenever the Moon comes crashing, the world will come to an end just like in the game, resetting it completely. However, they don’t need to let this event happen naturally, as they can force the game to reset and fully erase and then recreate the game simulation they’re inside to start from scratch.

This also extends with his timelines merging ability, but more on a idea or story path rather than erasing an individual, you see, when the timelines merged it was explicitly stated that some events didnt mix, that instead of all being in the same timeline, some got erased from history, such as the death of Nelson Mandela, making a direct nod to the famous Mandela effect, meaning that BEN can also erase from history specific parts of, well, history. Lastly, this working to erase people is put into interpretation, as we never see two of the same people in the same universe, for example Jadusable, who after dying and turning into a paradox was replaced by Jadus, his counterpart of the other timeline in where there was an apocalyptic event in 2018.

This was shown to make the new versions be titled as “non-existent”, beings made with the merge which shouldn't really be there, since they didn't exist before that but still have memory of past times, like if the memories were specifically made so they matched this new world. Although, this part was said by someone who, even if had special knowledge about how the timeline merge worked, was still kinda coo coo crazy, it still should be used due to what the character represents, but it's fair to have some doubts about it.

Madness Manipulation AND Fear Manipulation

Wow, the creepypasta has fear and madness manip, how original.

Anyways, BEN has shown this multiple times, making people slowly going crazy, like for example Jadusable who started seeing him in real life and even hearing the elegy of emptiness song. BEN doesn’t let the magic happen all of its own though, as they enjoy setting up a myriad of other abilities together to enhance this horrid experience.

And that's just madness, his fear manip is on another whole other level!, people who didn't even meet him have been struck with a fear so big they even fall into depression and lose willpower, it got so bad that people started to feel “wrapped” by this fear emotion, which caused them to act like dumbasses.

Fate Manipulation (debatable)

So, this needs a bit of explaining.  Fate has been something that has been brought up in the story multiple times, referencing how its “something that can't be fought against”, funny enough, us, the players, can in fact challenge fate itself, changing it via a poll that used to be done in a website, now, it's important to know that this is more than just a narrative play to make it more intractable with the audience, since, to begin with, we are ACTUAL characters in the series, represented by Navi in the video “huntyoudown”, meaning that we like it or not, we are part of said narrative and anything that happens, we are tangled in it in some way.

Now, into the poll itself, it's said that it actually decides the fate of the character who the poll is locked into, like for example, deciding on which day the second player would leave the apartment, and where would Sarah go next in the game, even if you argued that they could have seen the poll, that could never be the case, as the two never had any ways to connect to the internet, so the decisions were taken without knowledge on the poll.

Anyways, BEN has been (badum tss) to be shown able to make said polls, even changing the options and rigging it to his favor, meaning what he could decide the fate he wants to happen via making a poll.

Of course there are arguments against these takes, BEN has been shown to manipulate the minds of people around him, this includes making options for people, therefore you can absolutely argue against the idea of fate manipulation with this, not only that but BEN can rig these poles, but we aren’t sure how he does so, considering BEN has data manipulation you can certainly argue that both of these abilities can be used together to push forward what BEN wants/needs.

In the end, the choice if it's usable or not it's up to the reader, although we might include this for the verdicts.

Immortality/Respawn/Save States

So, this one is actually interesting. Due to how the eternity project made their worlds, they explicitly say that they wanted to make it as close to what the real deal was, making sure that in worlds that were a copy of ours pain was real and death was permanent, in contrast, every world based on a game follows its rules, meaning that if the game haves a respawn system and even a save/load one, then every digitized person should be able to access it, this is more blatant in “Heaven worlds”, where death and pain does not exists at all. This basically means that BEN should be able to respawn after death and even use the save states (like he did multiple times), meaning that as long as the cartridge exists, he will too…

Or does it?, well, it's even better, since BEN was able to escape the cartridge, he's not bound to it anymore, and even then he's still able to use the mechanics of said world, but it doesn't stop there, because since his conscience was spread around the “TheTruth.TXTthat means that his mind will keep living until every copy of the file is somehow deleted.

Power Null/Bestowal

Throughout the duration of the moon children website’s existence, we saw how BEN is capable of taking away the capability of using items and techniques. These extend to natural abilities, such as making Zora link unable to breathe underwater. Not only that, but said power null also affects the inputs of the player, making them unable to move or interact with the world in the game. Plus, BEN is capable of extending their own powers to other entities through various means, such as .txt files and their digitalization.

Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omnipresence (See before the verdict)

In various instances, the narrative has put into perspective that BEN is omnipotent, omnipresent and partially omniscient during their role as the main antagonist before Ifrit’s and Kelbris arrival. The extent to this is seen further into the document, however it still shows just how much power he has over the story and the characters in it, of course it needs to be stated but this DOES NOT MEAN BEN should scale to Kelbris in any way (See before Verdict)

BEN

The Cult/The Moon Children

The organization behind the ascension of so many innocent people, their influence throughout the world is just as vast as their delusional state of mind. With prophecies of world-ending catastrophes and imagery of a dead man being a deity alongside the moon, they weren’t the most sane individuals out there. It was an association for outcasts, the freaks of society, the black sheep of this world; the ones who sought an escape from this horrible existence as fleshy coffins. So they ended up having an idea, to create a merge of worlds so vast that they would be able to get enough power and influence in the world to realize their true dreams. Eventually changing their name to the eternity project, the cult was successful in turning digitization into a reality, allowing anyone who wanted an escape from this world an ideal pass to wherever and whenever they desired (at least if it was before 2005). However, do not get fooled by this seemingly pacific exterior, as they’re still capable of going the extra mile if anything or anyone dares to threaten the santicity of both the cult and worlds they have created. The moon children have various means of defense, including:

Ifrit

The mastermind behind the initial state of the cult of the moon children. While he started out as a simple and well intended man, trying his best to help his brothers and sisters ascend to a better existence, he inevitably fell into the broken path many do when entering into the demented circle of digitalization. After meeting with BEN, he would join his side and play the role of manipulator, making both the players and Jadusable to start the decline of the cartridge in the original timeline. As such, when confronted with the reset of the game by the hands of Sarah, he would plot to cause her to re-awaken the father once more. However, he forgot that our “epic gamer girl” had aid from the once fallen Ben and Jadusable, letting her kill them both and put an end to their nightmarish plans.

However, during those days in which WOMEN everything went according to plan, Ifrit showcased to be quite the individual. He has done things such as:

Kelbris (See “before the verdict”)

The child who heated whispers from Luna herself, the one who left his mortal shell to transcend humanity and become the first immortal god. Kelbris, the sleeping titan, became the guardian of the first experiment behind the cult’s operations, that being the maintenance and protection of the Majora cartridge. However, Kelbris himself wasn’t as reliable as many hoped he’d be, as he went mad with both pain and rage to the point where he did unspeakable acts… and he kidnapped people and digitized them I guess. The purpose behind this seemed unclear, as he didn’t showcase any level of malice, yet he did seem to not be quite an honest guy. It is eventually revealed to us that due to his incredible power came an incredible cost, that being ignorance. Without eyes to judge, he could merely act as asked as he now was under the influence of what the stimulus of the main world (deemed as world alpha) wanted of him. This led to him becoming the main power source behind BEN’s and Ifrit’s plans for terraforming the whole simulation, and with good reason too, as the father is quite a powerhouse by himself. He is capable of several impressive feats of power, such as:

Scaling

Princess

It's important to know that the princess completely dominates the universes she travels to, therefore she scales to everyone within the verse itself, if not that then everyone who scales below the protagonist as she often one shots them.

Ocarina Of Time

MegaMan Legends

Valve

PORTAL

TF2

POKEMON

MINECRAFT

BEN

Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time

Due to how the story works, including the whole cartridge deal, BEN should not only scale, but he should be WAY above any feat given here. (More in before the verdicts)

LINK

GANONDORF

BOSSES

MAJORA

Protagonists

Several of the people involved end up digitized inside of the cartridge, demonstrating feats of power of their own thanks to the new vessels they inhabit.

Due to how BEN can constantly one-shot every protagonist, to the point that even they know that fighting them is useless, it's safe to say that BEN should upscale to whatever they can do.

JADUSABLE

The first idiot person who found the cartridge, as well as the first one to directly interact with BEN and become victim of their shenanigans. His powers/showings found inside of the cartridge range from:

SARAH

After the… rather unfortunate demise of the second protagonist (only known as player 2, F in chat), the new person to take the wheel in this odyssey ends up being Sarah.

While she is only a real-life player at the beginning of her narrative, she ends up becoming digitized after her defeat against Jadusable and subsequent revival for the final battle. As such, any feats showcased by her both during and after said digitization will be taken into account for her.

With that in mind, Sarah showcased a good amount of things by herself in the short time she was present, such as:

Ascended/Digitized People

Many other individuals ended up trapped inside of the cartridge, but their input on the game world was different compared to others. It created a sort of “internal hierarchy” that only changed when Black Adam BEN came into the scene. However, from the few things they demonstrated even in their limited state, they have quite the abilities and powers of their own, such as:

Weaknesses

Princess

As with most beings that rely upon their mythos and ideas to live, the princess is no exception. Without the perception of people she cannot get stronger, weakening her powers, so she always pushes herself out there to be known. She’s also aware of this fact and fears death, as without this she loses all of her capabilities and is no longer “fiction become reality”, turning into just lost fiction. She also has a hard time with newer/more complex games, she relies on early graphic games from around 1995 to the 2000s

BEN

While the ascended moon children have shown a virtual omnipotence during most of their existence, they still possess several limitations to their power and extension. They’re way too keen on playing around with their victims, to the point of even providing them tools and abilities, as their ego and cockiness can become their Achilles talon if they’re not careful enough. Alongside that, even with the seemingly perfect cooperation, there can still be instances in which the spirits inside of BEN can disagree and create disputes on who should be the one in charge of their shared vessel. BEN often limits themselves too whenever they view their victim as inferior, letting them take various attempts at fighting back before getting serious, they also dislike not being in control which is stated by the wiki.

Before the verdict

What is canon for both?

As you may have noticed, Both BEN and Princess have some non canon material thrown in there, the main two being the Wiki and the Minecraft video, But its important to know, The wiki was written by the mods who had close ties with Jadusable while he was making the Series, as for the Princess its good to know, she has no cannon, hell the whole point of her story is that she can appear to anybody at any time for no reason, its apart of her mythos, her canon, and her story, but on top of that, do you have no whimsy? No joy?, the minecraft videos were included because we want to broaden the scope of the character, the original story has a lot but it simply wouldn’t be a fun debate (or research) without other material, but you may say “Then why didn’t you use every video HRMMM!!!?!? 🤓” because literally every other video is either a retelling in another language or just a language nobody on the team could understand, even if there was we would’ve probably used it!, but until we get that this is simply just something fun put together with some extra material that can coexist with mainline canon.

Scaling to the verses for both

Scaling is a bit weird, especially for Princess, let's talk about it, first of all it's important to note that she scales to basically everything she's in, when she appears she completely dominates everything, including the players, this happens multiple times throughout her series and within every instant, every time she's shown she clowns on the player character for a bit, then starts fighting them, she ALWAYS wins these encounters regardless, the same follows BEN, everytime hes manipulated the world and swapped it he has been above the mc consistently, and has even fought them.

Just how big is that DAMN cartridge/simulation?

The most important place for BEN’s shenanigans has to be the original Majora’s Cartridge, the place where it all began. However, it has come time and time again that its size is very… obtuse to say the least. Sometimes it can be simply a game world; others, it’s a whole universe; sometimes it can even be a playground with infinite possibilities. So which is it? Well, it’s all and yet none at the same time. Let’s go over some things before discussing it. The cartridge contains several instances of being a conglomerate of possible worlds, as its true size is always changing due to it being a moldeable simulation. This is supported by how each of the game worlds have been said to be capable of containing several instances of several worlds inside of them, at all the same time with a base world to use to keep them consistent. It goes to such lengths that it even states how each copy of these games is personalized. However, due to it being one of the first projects done by the cult, it can become so much more unstable due to having no natural limits. This led to various constructs (such as white/black voids, several pocket dimensions, mirror worlds, etc.) existing all at once inside of the same realm. Not only that, but the final fight reveals how BEN could have a wider grasp as they were capable of maintaining several universes in the form of moons during their final confrontation (which could represent the various universes that existed atm).

With all this said, the cartridge… is kinda fucking big. It should be from at least a low-Multiversal construct, a full Multiversal with infinite timelines. Such a scale is only accessible by one character, yet it is important to clear this out due to BEN having access to them.

INF speed princess?!

It's important to note the context of the feat itself, while it is true, the Princess making an infinite space is UNI+, but that's not what we are talking about, so lets start, FIRST OF ALL, it's important to note that YES this IS an infinite space, it was regarded as spanning infinitely, and she's actually done this before, not only that but it shows us HOW she does this, “I was in a black void, but the location text said “Marketplace.”” she takes a place, preferably a place with NPCs or is enclosed, “Apparently all the textures and pre-rendered backgrounds had failed to load.” she then removes the textures, and spans infinitely, if this is true, then not only is she creating mass infinitely but in a finite time, allowing Infinite speed to be valid

INF BEN!?!?

While at first it may seem that BEN doesn’t have much due to their nature as a passive trickster, they can get up and serious on their combat department too, specifically in how fast they can go. The way these instances of incalculable speed come from some ways, including:

However, the most important comes when both them and Sarah fought at the edge of the universe. Such a thing may seem pretty easy to dismiss as merely fighting in an empty void, however we know that this place is special due to being an area inaccessible to all except Kelbris (the one who is in his own transcended plane). With this in mind, and the fact that we don’t have any instances of time really passing through said empty space due to it being beyond the parameters of the simulation, it’s more than clear that they’re fighting and moving inside an area without the typical constraints of linear time and space. After all, this is what deemed all of them as anomalies, as no being should be capable of exceeding such level of presence and speed inside the cartridge.

It is important to know that all of these can also be argued to be related to several of their other abilities (time manipulation, reality warping, logic manipulation, etc.) However, these usually come alongside the utilization of things like the song of time, specific plugins, and the clarification with things like jingles and in-game inputs; meaning that all of these feats must come from their physiology allowing them to ignore the typical constraints of speed, or in other words, ignoring time itself to move as they please.

And even if we try to argue it being an outlier, Sarah has shown to be able to do shit like that casually, like breaking the very limits of the universe without any seeming problem whatsoever, and even reaching the “Between-The-Code” world, which as its name implies, its beyond their normal universe. Such a feat should be applicable to BEN due to them constantly upscaling to all of the playable characters.

So basically, funny enough, yeah, Inf BEN seems to be valid enough for it to be used.

Who has the better corruption?

Okay, so this is going to get really fucking weird really fast, lets start with Princesses corruption, probably one of her strongest abilities, starting with the basics, its able to bind things to it, things that come into contact with it lose all of their abilities (more specifically attacking ones), this also causes instant death to those who oppose it, which means any ill will towards the princess causes instant death, not only that but dying to it should realistically cause Existence Erasure due to the virus itself making enemies in the LOZ “Non-Existent”, on top of that is its manipulation of the world around it, making things disappear, textures unable to load, and crashing entire games, which in itself is universal, but its not ALL good, there are drawbacks to the corruption, not only is it REALLY slow to start bringing out the big guns, contact is NEEDED for it to take effect, simply avoiding it is an option, not only that but the textureless parts can be destroyed.

Meanwhile, BEN’s corruption is more diverse in its utility. It has the usual basics that come with it, such as taking away textures from the world, creating insta kill loops and even making enemies/characters stronger and weaker; but it gets to a point where it borders on genuine reality warping. BEN can create looping rooms, dimensions to cause mind-alterations. This control even extends to things like websites (a domain they shouldn’t even have power in, yet they do cause DUH), making them capable of changing posts, possessing Ai, even corrupting text and entire files as they deem fit. Although this all seems impressive, BEN’s corruption does have some factors to it that don’t make it invincible. Specific in-lore items are capable of reversing its effects, alongside the typical solution that even BEN uses whenever things get dire, a reset to the console (though this mainly applies to the digital effect of said corruption, as the spiritual level remained unchanged).

So let's figure this out with a chart!
Princess Virus

+Can erase things from existence

+Complete power nullification

+Can cause anything touched by it to become passive

+Can freeze things making them unable to move

=Both warp the realities around them

=Both can erase textures/the ground

=Both create infinite voids

-Not nearly as diverse

-Slow as fuck

BEN’s Corruption

+Can instantly infect the area it’s in

+Comes with both power null/granting

+Can transmute beings who are only souls

+Can change/ignore game inputs and cutscenes

+Can extend it alongside their time manipulation

+Can affect beings who are naturally resistant to corruption

+Passive to a certain extent

=Both warp the realities around them

=Both can erase textures/the ground

=both create infinite voids

-digitalization can work both in and not in their benefit depending on who is infected

-not as directly deadly as it’s used mainly for sealing and mind control

What does “OMNI-” mean for BEN?

Their power is great, impressive, magnificent even… but taking it too directly would prove to be an overstatement.

BEN is a powerful entity, but they aren’t THAT powerful. However, some of these statements do get merit when seen alongside the context in which they were written. For the purposes of the analysis, it is important to always take into account what part of the ARG’s duration they were said. These statements can be divided into the 3 main “Omni-“ ideal; power, knowledge and presence:

  • Omnipotence: BEN is a powerhouse, however that doesn’t mean his power is truly infinite. Omnipotence can have various meanings, from “all-powerful” and “unlimited power,” to simply being a hyperbole to express just how dominant a force may be. So which one does apply for BEN? Well…it’s complicated. While BEN is definitely not the most powerful character in the narrative, he is capable of practically anything INSIDE of the realm of possibility. Alongside that, the statement came during a period (Moon Children Arc) where they were the main antagonist, as a way to showcase their overbearing power against the players of the ARG, so yes, at that moment he would be regarded as an omnipotent being. So what does this give BEN? It definitely won’t let him have NLF, that’s for sure; however, they should get a massive upscaling chain from all feats in verse (except from Kelbris), as well as all the abilities showcased inside of the series on a much higher degree; or in other words, they gets to cheat their way through diversity, as always.

  • Omnipresence: The way omnipresence works in this viewpoint is through both the circumstance of being omnipresent and the fact of being everywhere at every point of time (past present and future). While BEN isn’t fully omnipresent in the godly sense of the word, they are omnipresent at least in a spatial form, as they were stated to be in direct control of the internet, allowing them to practically see every action from all players in the ARG (both present or merely passing). One can argue that due to BEN being capable of using time travel through websites they should also be capable of extending their range through both past and future, however we have only seen them interact with websites in particular rather than the whole wide web (such as the moon children domain). Nevertheless, this grants the collective a giant range in which they can operate, both inside and outside of our reality.

  • Omniscience: This side goes directly with omnipresence, as logic dictates that if you are everywhere, then you know everything. Such a thing is clear when BEN themselves mock the players of the ARG after doing actions they shouldn’t have any knowledge of, unless you think of BEN as a truly omnipresent force. Their time inside of the cartridge gives them a good advantage in this field too, since they have gone through several time loops and timelines to know the full extent of the cartridge they’re inside. So, in both the game and wider scheme of the ARG, BEN should be AT LEAST a nigh-omniscient entity.

What’s the Deal with “Kelbris”?

“me so anwy grrrrf” -Kel D. Bris

The first to ascend. The primordial child who could understand the moon’s message. The one who overcame his mortal shell. The Father of the moon children himself…

is a mess.

His power, while great, turned him into a chaotic entity that constantly switches sides and roles during the narrative due to becoming such an abomination. He may seem like a psychopath in nature, however that was only the case due to a symbiotic response between him and BEN’s input. Kelbris was influenced by the collective of kids, as they thought they were doing his will while in reality they indirectly caused the father to become much more aggressive in nature. This is why when he first awoke against Rosa, he directly “killed” her with no remorse.

This changing behavior is due to his purpose. His main role is to “support world alpha,” meaning that he is willing to do anything that is commanded to him under those parameters. What this says about his character is that he will always prioritize the sanctity of the simulation over anything else, as well as taking any orders coming from the denizen in power.

This is the case with how BEN and Ifrit were planning on using his power to fully reshape the simulation into an endless nightmare. Kelbris didn’t intervene due to it being a direct command from the beings that were at the top (that is besides himself), so he fully obeyed their command and was almost successful if not for Sarah using the song of healing to ask him to instead go back to his original parameters of being a protector.

So why is he even important? Well, he’s basically the thing that keeps everything running smoothly, or in terms of a great man, the living engine of this cartridge. This means that all of the cosmology inside of the cartridge, which includes several instances of infinite timelines/worlds, universes and even parallel dimensions existing all inside of combined macrocosmos in which he runs it all through his sheer power. Such a status grants Kelbris the ability to act as it’s ultimate force and defense system, capable of passively warping reality around himself to see as his parameters demand him to. He’s omnipotent, omnipresent yet not omniscient due to his constraints; allowing others to use him without any hindrance. His power is so great that he can instantly eliminate anomalies in a single action, as simple as blinking. This is important because the beings he eliminated (BEN and Ifrit) are acausal entities outside of the time-stream, as well as having the protection benefits of being made out of pure energy and living with the immortality granted to digitized video game characters. With this in mind, Kelbris should be capable of not only ignoring time resistances, but also immortality, all of that alongside fully erasing beings made out of pure energy out of existence.

It isn’t out of the ordinary to ask the father for favors during a fight either, as Jadusable casually asked him to summon an arena for his fight with Sarah. So, due to BEN always having the cartridge at his command, and Kelbris’s reflexive nature, it isn’t too far fetched to think BEN would be capable of not only utilizing a fraction of his power, but fully summoning him too if needed.

Understanding the difference between characters (sentient virus vs spiritual phenomena)

While both the Princess and BEN are similar in functionality, they have differences in their physiology and functionality that must be addressed before making a full  comparison as well as the scale in which they operate.

The Princess herself, while a mysterious and magical being in her own right, remains mostly in the digital realm of things when it comes to the supernatural, of course it's important to note, but she's ABLE to attack people outside of consoles, she's also shown the ability to take over entire websites with ease and has even been stated to be able to clone herself through servers (of course she needs to understand the technology) but once she's able to she can do anything with said tech, as long as she's able to understand what it is and what it does she can use it.

BEN in itself became far more than a simple collage of trapped spirits, they turned into a monster only surpassed by literal eldritch gods. While they are a digital being in essence, their means of functioning were always on the paranormal and spiritual rather than fully relying on code manipulation. This doesn’t mean they aren’t able to do it, but it certainly isn’t their strength when compared to the other benefits that came with being a conglomerate of digitized individuals.

Looking directly side by side it’s kinda hard to tell the differences, not only are both digital beings that can affect the outside world, but they can both effect outside planes of existence like the internet and even the real world, i mean both kelbris AND BEN have shown the ability to get to these worlds and have both interacted with people and things in these worlds, BUT there are notable differences.

  1. The princess has multiple limitations when it comes to the real world, we know she becomes physical due to Adam trying to stab her and the knife breaking, but we don't know HOW she gets to this point, if she becomes a physical being, or how i think it's done, THOUSANDS OF HANDS COME OUT THE SCREEN AND BEAT EM TO DEATH, but either way she can only appear to these people if nobody is around, we know this because she had to physically stop the stream itself before killing dan, and this is a continuous pattern with her, while both BEN and Kelbris can appear to anyone and are able to interact with other objects, though they never show themselves to these people directly, and we can assume this is some ghost logic.

  2. Digitizing requires a soul, something that the Princess NEVER does, while you can THEORIZE that the Princess can affect souls due to the rules, and this story following the “Rules cannot bind the Princess” motif, that argument can be ignored by just asking if she's ever shown this, while in game souls ARE on the table, as she can affect pokemon, and was called similar to that of a silph scope pokemon, and DOOM enemies being spirits that are intangible, other then that there's really no reason to believe that she even CAN affect human souls at minimum, but with BEN he's shown multiple times that he can affect souls, being digitized means your soul is put into a console (note if you die in the game you die irl), meaning you can argue digital souls being equal to game souls.

  3. The Princess is an idea, she's a concept, she will exist as long as she's thought about, don't think this needs to be said but the same is not true for BEN (sadly)

Is BEN actually scared?

At first one would think that yeah, he is indeed scared, but the truth is, BEN has never been real about how he feels aside from disgust and enjoying the misery of others, this is because, well, he's canonically a manipulator, like, literally. We can’t take at face value anything he says about his feelings because hes probably just fucking up with the current protagonist at the time and thats it.

Yes, this even includes Kelbris, as BEN never really felt scared of him, all the times he “seemingly” did, being actually just him playing, doing reverse psychology to lure Jadusable into a sense of power so they could get the advantage on him. (It also helps the fact that Kelbris fw him so hard that they have a picture together)

What is “BEN”? (Further physiology/understanding)

“No exe, Ben isn’t BEN”

While “BEN” may seem to be merely a singular being, it is revealed throughout the narrative that this spirit is much more than what is led to be believed.

There’s a division between “Ben” (the child who was the second successful ascension and subsequent experiment) and “BEN” (the collective of dead moon children who play the role of antagonist), one that showcases their effective power and range as a conglomerate.

BEN can be divided into three categories of existence:

  • Artificial intelligence: Ben, the kid, is considered to be merely an AI under the guidance of specific parameters. However even Abel himself comments on how he is impressed that he was able to evolve beyond those constraints. This showcases Ben, and by extension BEN’s natural capability of evolution. They are also capable of infecting other AI’s, such as with cleverbot.

  • Spiritual presence: The original children died under the parameters of being a spiritual rebirth, as the mission of the cult was to ascend and leave behind their flesh bodies to become purely mind and soul. Such a thing was achieved with all of them, and they would later be forced to inhabit the Majora cartridge. Such level of possession comes to other places too, as they were capable of infecting websites, files and YouTube channels.

  • Digitized entity: As later seen in the narrative, all of their spirits became digitized, a form of being in which they only exist as pure energy that CONTAINS their soul and mind. It is also relevant to show how other people went insane during the process of becoming digitized, yet BEN seemed fine after it all. With this, they’re able to inhabit, corrupt and become a part of various digital worlds. These can either be full replicas of real life, or video games; as depending on which ones they are, they will have the pros and cons that come with the logic of each (for example, in the world of “heaven” pain doesn’t exist).

In summary, BEN should be a spiritual being of pure energy that can divide themselves into soul and mind, capable of spreading their essence through physical and digital means, as well as actively enhancing themselves the more control over people and the narrative they have.

Fight Script!

If you're seeing this text the script isn’t out!
This is because we are making a whole ass novel lol!!

Verdicts

ALRIGHT the game has been loaded!, it's time to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE

Stats

Let's start off simple, AP is clear cut, BEN should realistically be stronger, while both can effect and create infinite spaces BEN has shown the capacity to affect multiple time-spaces, putting him above the Princess BUT it's important to note that AP really isn’t a big factory here, Moving onto durability there's not much to go over other than BEN and the Princess NEVER take hits and are basically unable to harm the other in the first place, both have shown multiple times that their invulnerability is heavily layered, Speed is interesting, ignoring both INF speeds it's pretty clear that the Princess would take it, but that doesn’t really matter when both have shown INF speed feats multiple times through creation of various infinite worlds as well as traveling across said worlds instantly, So this category can be considered a tie, leaning SLIGHTLY in BENs favor

Allies & Arsenal

Let's start off small, Arsenal this one is heavily arguable, the cartridge itself isn’t really vs viable in the first place, while yes it is true it does a LOT of stuff it's not something that can actually be used in a vs setting, and even still the cartridges abilities are basically the same as BENs, but we will get into that later, while princess has an actual VS viable weapon, the CARS, not only do they break games (they could destroy textures as well as create an entirely new level) but they can also CRASH games with duplication, if one is even slightly touched it turns into 7 which can cause a massive chain reaction with an infinite amount of them spawning in, making the Princess the winner of this category Okay i don't think this needs to be said BUT, BEN easily outclasses Princess in terms of Allies, really? A fucking boulder vs actual god?, it's pretty obvious to say that BEN should win this category

Abilities

Instead of going about this as you normally would we decided it would be best to split this into 2 categories

Offensive Abilities

Both the princess and BEN have the capability to fully corrupt and eradicate worlds, however BEN’s form of attacking and corrupting people is much more focused compared to the passive nature of the princess’s infection. BEN has showcased a much more tactical and focused usage of their abilities, as well as being able to target and utilize more direct methods to kill and harm others (such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, power-nulling, item manipulation, and others). Their knowledge of how the game worlds usually work allow them to be able to target specific things, as well as being aware of the several limitations and weaknesses found on them (like how to prevent the activation of certain glitches or story events). It all comes down to how they use these abilities, and due to much aggressive and dominant nature in their encounters it becomes clear to see that BEN would have the edge in this category.

Defensive Abilities

While BEN has been shown to have a lot of statements and abilities regarding his untouchable nature, that only comes from the player character themself, otherwise his direct immortality isn’t that good while Princesses immortality is just SO much better, any single thought sentence or even drawing IS her, that is her existence and nature which BEN just doesn’t have anything for, regarding that are main defensive abilities, which still has Princess in the lead, her corruption is ON TOUCH, and it erases you from reality or freezes you then passifies you, you literally CANNOT escape that, and BEN hasn’t shown any way to escape EITHER, on top of that is her invulnerability just… directly being better. While BEN has shown to dodge most attacks he CAN be hit and CAN be momentarily harmed, while the Princess has her invulnerability toggleable and on top of that it's COMPLETELY impossible to hit her otherwise, characters like navi who can interact and see spirits while also being able to describe them is UNABLE to learn anything about the Princess, the same goes for the lens of truth which couldn’t even give any secrets/knowledge about her. Meaning the Princess should win this category

Tertiary Factors

While these don't matter in any way, IQ solidly goes to BEN, while it is true that BEN plays around more with their victims they still get the job done after a while, and they have been portrayed to be incredibly smart multiple times. BEN themselves are a community of individuals who can operate independently from each other, yet they are capable of impressive feats of cooperation and understanding. They have employed several tactics, such as reverse psychology, manipulation and even threats; all of these with the knowledge of how each of their victims operated and reacted to certain stimuli. Meanwhile, the Princess is very emotionally brained, as shown with Dan she purposefully didn’t kill him multiple times because she directly “Loved” him.

As for experience the Princess is directly shown to be MUCH older then all beings inside BEN as well as being much more experienced when it comes to fighting. While you could argue that BEN has had an indefinitely long amount of time to play around with their abilities in the time frames between the first use of the cartridge and their ascension + the 10 year span after jadusable’s death, we haven’t seen them doing anything in particular other than continuously spreading their corruption. So, as shown throughout the series, the Princess should have at least more than twice the experience with several worlds and encounters compared to BEN who remained inside of the cartridge’s (albeit infinite) yet restrained constraints. With this in mind, it would seem that experience leans more on the Princess’s side.

Princess

"THIS IS WHERE YOU LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME LEFT ME "

Advantages:

  • Car is more vs viable than the cartridge

  • Her immortality is MUCH better than BENs regardless

  • More experience

  • Better defensive HAX

  • Probably has the better series [kars]

  • Doesn’t have Ifrit as an ally

Equal

  • Dura is useless for this debate

  • Speed

Disadvantages:

BEN

"YOU'VE BEGUN TO START THINKING. YOU'VE BEGUN TO CATCH ON. YOU'VE MADE A DISCOVERY TODAY, BUT HOW LONG UNTIL THAT BLESSING BECOMES A CURSE?"

Advantages:

Equal

  • Dura is useless for this debate

  • Speed

Disadvantages:

  • The cartridge, although strong, it's just the same haxes that he already has.

  • Less experience.

  • Their immortality isn’t the best and they have been harmed before

  • Worse defensive Hax

  • Bro supports AI art/music (so cringe)

  • Has Ifrit as an ally

So after ALL that, Should they be able to kill each other?

After all that has been said and done, one would think there should be a definitive answer to this simple question. However, in reality it is… more than complicated.

Short answer NO, but the explanation is more than that, while it may seem directly as a TIE (believe us, we did think it was until last 10 minutes of debate), this turns out to be on BEN’s favor, due to his timeline fuckery, he would be able to send princess to a timeline where she was never made, she wouldn't really die, but she wouldn't have a way to come back nor a way to fight it, worse part is that this is actually in-character for BEN, more on that you may be wondering.. Why isn’t kelbrises time erasure being brought up? Well that's because both higher beings like the BEN ai and Kelbris himself remember these people, therefore she would just simply come back which leads to the next point.

But even then, if we argued he couldnt get rid of her that way, then there comes the biggest point of this whole fight, personality. You see, it's been explicitly shown that, although powerful, if the princess finds a person that can actually beat her ass (like Matt in the story), then she would try to leave, not fight anymore, would this be instant? No, this would take a bit of fighting to get the princess to the point of not wanting to fight anymore, but eventually she would just, not see a reason to continue the fight, as it wouldn't really help her in anything, leaving. And even if she does come back due to how she is attracted (not romantically) to the people that remember her, she would recognize BEN and just decide… not to mess with him, so really, even if lame in some way, BEN ultimately wins, either via BFR or just, The Princess leaving.

In the end, although being a more than formidable combatant, The Princess just couldn't do anything to go against the timelines, or in the more possible outcome, just wanting to leave, as if she drowned in her own feeling of survival.

The winner is B.E.N

Final Tally

Princess:

TIE: Kars [pity vote]

BEN: cheeseHollow
